Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to the Polls we go...

The weather continues to be dreary and miserable here in the Boston area. What started out as snow has switched to rain...cold rain. CR had a blast with SM this morning in Mantown while I worked, and after lunch, we decided to get out, even if it was only for a few minutes. Today marks a big election day in MA, so it was only logical that we use a trip to our local precinct to cast our vote as our outing. We bundled up, and after testing CR's limits with the rain (sometimes he just doesn't like the rain), we jumped in the car and popped over to make our voice heard. I know. Environmentally not the best decision to fire up the family truckster, but in that wee-man wanted no part in the precipitation, and he needed to go down for a nap by 3pm at the latest, we made the split-second decision.
We hit the ward well after lunchtime, so there wasn't a line, and based on the fact that the ballot consisted of only one line item, we barely had a chance to shut the privacy curtain behind us in the booth. Not the most exciting outing, but CR was extremely happy to get the sticker in the end.

Tomorrow is another busy work day for me, but here's to hoping for sunny skies, a bright new day, and an end to all of the political rally calls we have been receiving - Martha and Scott can lose our number now...
