We went to the Museum of Science this past weekend, and CR decided that rather than checking out the animated aquarium on the far wall of an exhibit, he would rather pause for a moment and sit in on a lecture covering the creation of a Hadron Collider...
What can we say, he takes after his grandfather Gee. I have to admit, B and I were mighty impressed by how the topic held his attention...and B and I learned something too.
I am a SAHM who has managed to keep my working feet wet while staying home to raise our daughter and two sons. I have a long history of Marketing experience, which has allowed me to contract with my former employer, and most recently with a non-profit - along the way, I also fulfilled a passion of mine with the ultimate job - I am a cross-country and track coach for a nearby all-boys private school. As much as I love the independence that work brings, all of the working roles in my life pale in comparison to being a mom. Our oldest son is five our daughter is two, and our most recent addition the Moo is five months old - with an amazing supportive husband and a not-so-terrible-five-and two-year-old and a new baby, I really can't complain, my life is pretty good.
